The Jell-O Wobbly World San Francisco may be expecting an earthquake some day soon, but this shaky city is just ridiculous!
Liz Hickok (pictured below) has re-created San Francisco in Jell-O (Jell-O is nothing but edible jelly, the jelly we used to buy in small containers for maybe 5 rupees, or why even the jujubes we used to eat as kids),constructing a whole scale model first and then using it to make moulds for the jelly. She adds painted backdrops, model trees, and lights the jelly from underneath or behind. Then she snaps a photo before it decays and all her work becomes a sloppy mess, leading to the worst clean-up operations!!!

Now dive into this Jelly City!
This awesome overhead view of San Francisco, looking towards downtown,is made entirely from Jell-O jelly and covers an area of approximately 32 square feet:
Hung with fairylights, Liz's Bay Bridge is a gravity defying work in JELLY! |
Be Sure to check out more of her work!!!!
