Democratic country, still you have to follow the government for your Hair Style !? The North Korean Government has ordered their citizens to have only certain 28 Hair styles given by them.

| 18 Styles for Women |
Women are allowed to choose one of 14 styles; married women are instructed to keep their tresses short, while the single ladies are allowed let loose with longer, curlier locks. There are 18 Hair styles for women.

| 10 Styles for Men |
Men are prohibited from growing their hair longer than 5 cm — less than 2 inches — while older men can get away with up to 7 cm (3 inches). There are 10 such hairstyles for men.
Anyone violating this rules for hair and changes their hairstyle are grows more gets fined and will be taken to barber shop to cut it. They give freedom of speech, but not freedom of hair styles. This is nothing new in North Korea as it is one of the most disciplined country in the world.
