On Wednesday, red colored water was flowing down the streets of Bunol, Spain. It's not blood, but tomatoes!
Every year on the last Wednesday of August people in Italy celebrate a festival called 'La Tomatina' where this year happened in Bunol saw around 40,000 to 50,000 participants. This festival starts at 11 am when a person who reaches the top of the pole with a ham. But nobody's waiting for him to reach the top, tomatoes start raining before itself.

All the participants are encouraged to wear safety equipments like goggles and caps. This is encouraged by the Government and Safety Commision of that place. The rules are simple, crush the tomatoes before throwing them. That's it you can all have fun by crushing, smashing and throwing. The only event in this world where a ton of tomatoes get used. The people who conduct this event provide the tomatoes all around the street.

Once the water cannons are fired for a second time at noon, La Tomatina is over, and clean up begins. Firefighters use water from an ancient Roman aqueduct to hose down the streets.
