T.N.Sheshagopalan was born in Nagapattinam on September 5 1948. He learnt music from his mother when he was a child. Then he learnt music from Ramanathapuram .C.S. Sankarasivan.Though he is musician he has a degree in science from madras university and he also holds degree in music from Kamaraj university.He his well versed in singing and playing Veena and Harmonica and he also an exponent in harikatha. He has won many awards and some of his awards are Sangeetha Kalanidhi(2006 madras music academy) , Padma Bushan (2004) , Kalimamani(1984 Tamilnadu government).He has also acted in a film namely "thodi ragam" as a hero.
T.V Sankaranarayanan
T.V Sankaranarayanan was born in Mayiladudurai of Tanjore district on March 7 1945. He started learning carnatic music from Madurai Mani Iyer at the age of 9. His music is pleasant to hear . He performed his maiden concert in the year 1968.He has many awards like Padma bushan(2003 Govt. of India), Sangeetha Kalanidhi(2003 madras music academy).
Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman
Sivaraman was born in umayalpuram on December 17 1935. He is a eminent Indian mridangam player.Sivaraman has dual degrees in university of madras.He started performing mridangam in many temples at the age of 10.He has won many awards like Padma Bushan(2003 Government of India), Padma Vibushan (2010 Government of India), Padmashri (1988 Government of India).
Sudha Ragunathan
Sudha ragunathan was born in Bangalore on April 30 1977.She performs her concert with a melodic voice.She is a versatile singer in carnatic music . At first she learnt from her mother then from M.L. Vasanthakumari.She obtained postgraduate in economics from Ethiraj college.She received many awards like sangeetha kalanidhi(2013 madras music academy),Padmashri(2004),Bharath Jyoti(1988 Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan ,New York). She has also sung many cinema songs.
M. Chandrasekaran
Chandrasekar is a beautiful violinists .He is 75 old now.He started is journey in a very small age.He was initiated into violin by his mother,Charubala Mohan. He started performing violin at the age of eleven.First of all he is a blind.But now he is violin maestro.He is one big role model for each and every blind person.He had won many awards like Sangeetha Kalanidhi (2005 madras music academy).
T.N Krishnan
Krishnan was born in Tripunitura, Kerala on October 6 1928.He started performing concerts at the age of 8.He has accompanied many musical maestros at a very young age.he learned music from his father first and he learnt from Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. He recieved many awards like Sangeetha Kalanidhi(1980) , Padma Bushan(1992), Padma Shri(1973) .
Kanyakumari
Kanyakumari was born in Vijayanagaram, Andhra Pradesh .Now she is in Chennai nearly for 40 years.she has performed many accompaniment concerts and solo concerts.she learnt violin for 3 great gurus or 3 great legendary gurus Vijeswara Rao, M.Chandrasekaran, M.L. Vasanthkumari. she has also won many awards like Kalaimamani (Govt. of Tamilnadu), TTK award(Madras Music Academy), Sangeetha Kala Nipuna (Mylapore fine arts club 2002)
