What is Apple trying to do with a Head Mounted Display? Apple recently patented its new invention of a virtual reality visor or we call it the Apple HMD. All the hyped rumours are true, they finally end up creating one. But the ultimate question is What are its features and what will it do?

The Design of a Wearable Glass Patent

Yes, to answer it, it basically lets you connect with every Apple device that you own and view it virtually. It's like a Google Glass but a bit more advanced with a 3D-enabled view. It has WiFi connectivity enabled and you can stream all TV shows in it by connecting wit with your Apple TV and also you can view them in 3D. The Apple Head-Mounted Display is more of like the Oculus VR, the design is like it but this can connect with only Apple devices. Will Apple get into the gaming field and make a difference to the world? I am excited about it, I wouldn't be surprised if Apple releases a Gaming console and get into the competition with Facebook's Oculus VR. This might happen and if it does it'll be one hell of a battle around here in this tech field.

Apple hasn't released a working model of this visor yet, they just patented the deigns and the function. Once it has been released, we can predict what it'll be used for. It has a wide range of connectivity and it is said to be able to watch TV even when you are not exactly in front of it. We can't determine anything about its quality without getting hands on with it. So lets grab our seats and wait till Apple releases the developer and beta version of this. The Apple HMD is really exciting new thing from Apple but this dates back to the 1970s where in an Advertisement of apple they used this kind of a Visor. Tim Cook is cooking something new which is difficult for us to determine what it'll be with just the smell.
